this movie was ok. I personally prefer titanic over this. This movie started off great. But there wasn't much love in the middle of the movie. It didn't seem like a love movie... In the end though it was wonderful. I thought it was boring in the middle but i would recommend it =] =] =] some of the scenes are just beautiful. So if you are looking to watch a romantic movie with your partner this could be one on your list =]

A long movie that dragged on for me. A bit predictable. I was waiting for something interesting to happen but it never did. Some parts were ok but I wouldn't watch it again.

i loved the book when i first read it and the same happened when i saw the movie. often movies based on books do not do the book justice, but this movie is definately the exception. it is such a powerful love story that will even make cynics become believers. The casting of Rachel McAdams, Ryan Gosling, Gena Rowlands and James Garner is a perfect one. often movies that tend to jump around different time periods are confusing and the audience ends up losing interest. However, the notebook did this in such a fluid way that you could not help but be engaged it in.

"Somewhere," muses Noah Calhoun, while sitting on his porch in the moonight, "there were people making love." The Notebook, a Southern story of love-lost-and-found-again, revolves around a single time-honored romantic dilemma: will beautiful Allisonn Nelson stay with her Mr. Respectability , or will she choose Noah, the romantic rascal she left so many years ago?
