A very inspiring story. Based on the book 'Rocket Boys', this is a fantastic story about achieving goals and making dreams reality. Against all odds, a teenage boy and his friends in a coalmining town achieve their goals of entering the national Science competition with their rocket display. This is a fantastic movie to watch with youth groups. Highly recommended.

Film based on the true story "Rocket Boys". In a blue collar mining town a group of friends take the inspiration of their teacher, study physics, and successfully build their own rockets. In doing so they have to confront the realities of their parents reliance on the town mine, and lack of faith in any aspirations that might lead the boys outside a small town career.
