Mc Murphy has been transferred to a mental health facility to be accessed on his state of mental health pending a trial outcome. It doesn't take him long to start to stir things up within the system his main focus of dislike being centered on Nurse Ratched who will brook no arguments or questions on how things are done on her ward. Mc Murphy, decides that the fellow patients should start living at little and does his best to get the others out and about, breaking every rule in the hospital while at it. In a final confrontation Mc Murphy is finally subdued in the worst possible way. This would have to be Jack Nickolson's best role, with a brilliant supporting cast. Watch out for a very young Danny De Vito. Classic movie!!!!
Such a gripping story about a man sent to a metal institution that isn’t actually mental. He forms a great friendship with another man there, who at first seems mental but turns out he isn’t. Their friendship grows strong. Jack Nicholson is one of the most humorous actors I have seen, he plays this part extremely well.
