I thought this was an enjoyable film, it's a nice adaptation of the novel and the music and lyrics are very good and really engage you in the storyline. The actors chosen for this all seemed to suit their parts well and they had passable singing voices. It was great to see the spectacular on the big screen, it's not as good on DVD but still lots of fun to watch.
