Reviews

If you are reading this review I can only assume it is because you are actually considering buying this useless film. Can I ask why? This film is as awful, unfunny and cringeworthy as all the other films in this series. Crude, rude and useless. Are you a fan of the series? Seriously? Wow. Sorry, but this film just sucks. No jokes, no fun, no story, no good actors. No offence.
I would love to give this film a negative rating but unfortunately the system won't allow me to. Just when you thought the Police Academy film makers had hit rock bottom, they find more shovels and keep on digging. Steve Guttenberg, the star of the first four films finally realised that being in these turkeys was killing his career; hence why he's not in this one. It's bad, it's not funny, it's the same as all the other sequels.
If they had stopped at the first film I wouldn't be complaining (though we probably wouldn't have the theme park attraction). The second Police Academy film is the pits. What was moderately amusing in the first film is now crass, silly, and hugely unfunny. Seven year olds might find this funny (though if it was my seven year old I'd be worried). And this isn't even the worst of the bunch! Avoid, avoid, avoid.
Do not bother. Only the first Police Academy film was even halfway decent (just) - by number seven things had totally fallen apart. They couldn't even get enough of a budget together to pay all the actors, hence why several are absent from this picture (and no doubt thanking their agents). Very very bad, not funny, lame, the pits - not sure what else to say really. In a franchise that has several films that could claim to be the worst film ever made, this is the worst of the lot.
Finally, you can score the whole series in a box set! I grew up watching these movies on TV and they're mostly still funny although some of them are utterly ridiculous and only funny if you're drunk. Still, numbers 1 and 3 are still quality viewing.
5 and 6 aren't too bad, 2 and 4 are kinda average, but 7 is complete and utter rubbish. There's still a lot of fun viewing here though.
I don't think you even need to be reading these reviews we all know how hilarious police academy is, and at this price it works out at just over $10 a disk, what a bargain! This is one I will be adding to my collection and you should to. Most of you have probably seen at least one police academy movie, but even if you haven't you should still get this, I promise you, you won't regret it
I love the police academy movies. My favourite character has to be the one who can make all the sound effects with his mouth (I forgot his name). All of the characters are great in these films. It really is a funny and witty collection of movies. Overall I'll have to give it 5 stars.
As far as movies that have six sequals go, the police academy saga really is at the top of its game. these dvs are truly funny, and are well worth buying just so you can watch them again and again.and for this price, it really is something that would be a great gift for yourself or for somebody else.
