I love this movie!!!! I think I've watched it many, many nights at home curled up under the doona by myself with a bowl of ice cream and I never tire of it. It ranks up there with Dirty Dancing. Sadly I think I can recite it word for word. It's the only movie that I can honestly say I love Julia Roberts in. My favourite scene is when she goes shopping and no one wants to serve her. And then she walks back into the shop looking stunning and incredibly wealthy and informs them of what a big mistake they made

This movie is hilarious. I have never laughed so much ever. It has great acting, affects, dialogue, and especially superb humour – everything you need in a great movie. The movie does have a few scenes that drag out but all in all it’s a must have for all comedy fans and is suitable for basically all ages. It’s a must have, so buy it – You will definitely won’t be disappointed. Highly Recco

'Pretty Woman' is a movie that tries hard to believe in Cinderella and forever after. I guess if you want to take off the rose coloured glasses and get critical, it isn't the best acting you've ever seen, but it is a lovely movie that appeals to a wide range of people (okay, mostly women).

this is the movie that made julia roberts a movie star and it is not hard to see why. pretty woman is the classic cinder ella story with a twist: the cinder ella here is a prostitute and the prince is a rich business man who takes her under his wing and makes her wildest dreams come true. five stars

This movie is an absolute classic. If you haven't seen this movie then you haven't lived (especially since it has been on TV umpteen times), and you will NEVER get to see Julia Roberts play a hooker in any other movie and you will never see an actress play a hooker turned good girl so outstandingly. THis movie is one of a kind.

I've seen this several times on TV and it's still good to watch. The thought of a rich man taking a prostitute to his penthouse hotel suite doesn't sound very glamourous, but he pampers this girl because he respects who she is and tries to turn her into a nice woman. He encounters a few problems along the way but he does a pretty good job of it. This is charming and not too sugar coated, so therefore pretty watchable.

I just watched this movie and found i really did love it. i thought both Richard Gere and Julia Roberts did a great job. Both of then were wonderful on screen and they had great chemistry together. i would have to say this has to be on of my favourite movies, ten out of ten!

A horrible, mind numbing reworking of the classic story from My Fair Lady, Pretty Woman features two of the worst performances in cinema history, Richard Gere as a completely charmless businessman, and Julia Roberts as the most unconvicing prostitute of all time. Jason Alexander is the only good thing about the film, and he's in it for like ten minutes all up. Atrocious viewing.
