This riveting thriller filled with gripping action stars the legendary Tyrone Power and Oscar Winner Susan Hayward. With a band of outlaws on the loose, remote station master Sam Todd and his tenderfoot underling Tom Owens (Power) force bombshell Vinnie Holt (Hayward) and her infant niece off a stagecoach and into the safety of the station until law can be restored. Things go awry when the murderous bunch of convicts arrive and take control of the desert outpost with the idea of robbing the gold shipment arriving the following day. When they shoot the stationmaster its up to the mild-mannered Owens to outsmart the fugitives before they can execute their deadly plansand their prisoners.
