Like most John Grisham stories Runaway Jury is somewhat too cute and clever for its own good, not to mention quite implausible. A high profile trial is hijacked by a stacked jury run by two people with an agenda. However a very strong cast is on hand to almost save the day, and thanks to their performances the plot inconistencies are easier to overlook.
