Ah, well, I guess we've had enough. I mean, I thought they were cool and then I saw Superhero Movie and Epic Movie 9which was a three star rating for me) and it just gets a little boring. Scary Movie one and two were too sexual, three was too violent and four was just well, not the best. I am angry that they spoofed The Grudge, seeming how that was such an inimitable and original, and it irritates me how they just make everything into a long lasting mess. They added a bit of Saw into it and sort of just let it drop after the first scene. The storyline is based on War of the Worlds and ties together with Karen (the girl from all the other films) trying to destroy the curse of the Saeki family diverted from the Ju-On series and American films. This movie has far less laughs than to its predecessors, but it'll do for a lazy night in. But you know what, just when we were excepting and coming to terms that there is a fourth installment in the trilogy, I heard their is a Scary Movie 5 that is coming soon. What have we done to deserve this havoc?!!!

ok, so this was arguably the worst of the 4 scary movies. but for the sake of it being part of the scary movie trilogy, im gona have to give it a 5 star rating. i think that the idea of george dying was crappy, as he was a great character. but never-the-less, there were certain scenes that were really great - the spoofs from the village, the grudge and saw tied in really well together.

i found this a really poor film which was just not funny at all. Its weird it was taken over by the Naked Gun guys but they seem to have lost their touch after so many years out of the film business, i was screaming for the wayans brother to be back it was so unfunny. Not as bad as Date Movie or Epic movie though

Ok, the first time was great, the second not so bad, the third was time to stop, but now please daddy, stop flogging that horse, it's already dead. Charlie Sheen is smart to kill himself off early to get out of this mess. The characters haven't developed at all, the storyline is paper thin, and the whole thing stinks of unoriginality. Please stop. For the love of god.

Ok, hands up who agrees... this is just getting ridiculous now! I'll give you the first one, that was good; an original concept, a fresh cast and a script that was JUST bad enough to be good. But seriously now, enough is ENOUGH!! The second Scary movie was pushing the limits, but this, the FOURTH, is not funny, not cute, not even funny in a "Oh my god, this is SO sad" kinda way. It's just BAD! Not worth your time at all!! DON'T buy it! Kepp looking! This is NOT the film you're looking for!! Trust me, it's just HORRIBLE!! If there was an option to give NO stars at all, then I'd be going for that, but since the least I can do is one, then one it shall be... though it PAINS me to do it!
