This movie is stunning. You won't feel happy after seeing it, but you will be informed about what went on in the labour camps of Nazi Germany. Everyone should see this movie at least once in their lives to ensure we don't forget the atrocities committed. Ralph Fiennes is particularly convincing in his role - chilling. What is even more chilling is it is based on fact. It is filmed in a way that doesn't glamorise war or either side, just presents it as it was.

A cinematic triumph! This film was critically acclaimed upon release and it will be forever. A fantastic plot, excellent cast, refreshingly shot in black and white, and all the more poignant for being real. The extraordinary story of Oskar Schindler, a modern-day saint, with a few personal indescrepencies, a larger than life character and member of the NAZI party who saved the lives of over a thousang jews during world war two. The story of Schindler offers a beacon of hope for human kind shining out through one of the darkest periods of our history. This is an absolutely perfect film that is a must see, and a perfect addition to any respectable DVD collection
