This show grabbed me out of the blue. The combination of brilliant writing, fantastic dialogue and beautiful cinematography hooks you in from the start. Mark Gatiss and Steven Moffat have done a great job of writing this, incorporating Arthur Conan Doyle's original ideas while keeping surprises for old Sherlock fans. The 3 episodes are all movie length, but isn't nearly long enough.
Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss have created a wonderful retelling of the classic Sherlock series in a modern London. Both leads, Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman were brilliant and worked as a team beautifully. The mysteries and crimes were interesting and the solutions always entertaining. With some great humour and suspense, this series is my current favorite recreation of Arthur Conan Doyle's classic books. I throughly enjoyed this series and am looking forward to the next.
