A successful man with nostalgia for his days as a soccer player attempts to adopt an orphan so he can teach him all about his favourite sport. But soon after bringing the lad home, the new father is disappointed to discover that the lad is not interested in playing soccer. This creates tension, until a stray dog with a remarkable talent for playing soccer shows up and helps to bring father and new son together.
Soccer dog a dog whom plays soccer, A great movie, a classic! no collection is complete without this master piece, an amazing kids movie but it is suitable for all ages young and old, I promise you will love this movie, I did! and I thought it was just amazing an absolute classic it is just so innocent. it gets five stars from me because it is so great.
joh, another animal movie whereby the animal is for some reason exceptional at sport...but this movie is actually quite watchable, and the dog comes off looking quite cute at times. some of the scenes where he plays soccer are a bit unrealistic, but i guess they did the best they could. some of the plot was spared at the expense of the story, but nevertheless this is a prety good watch for animal lovers out there.
I look forward to babysitting my seven year-old nephew about as much as I do a root canal. So when I was asked this week to watch the wild child, I cringed, but accepted. If he's not running around like a madman, he's watching videos and TV.
After having chased him around the house for three hours, we sat on the couch and turned on HBO. Luckily SOCCER DOG: THE MOVIE was playing. It not only kept him distracted and entertained for 90 minutes, but I found myself laughing along with its cute charm and sharp wit.
Disregard the low number of stars you see on the title page. This is an extremely fun and enjoyable film for 8 year-olds or 28 year-olds.
