While it may be orientated more towards younger fans, the Star Wars Clone wars book is the pick of the series due to fact that its full of all things film itself. A good purchase for casual and hardcore fans alike, but others will still criticize it for its lame story line.
The story is quite poor. Children won't notice that, however, and contrary to a lot of opinion, Ahsoka, the new apprentice for Anakin is not so bad, and she and the Hutt baby will appeal to shildren. The worst excesses of the "war", which are seen in the TV series are mostly hidden in the movie - not too much oh brave-frontline-hero soldier stuff, which I don't think is healthy for children. The action is entertaining, some of the visuals spectacular.
