Serpent's Song - SG-1’s arch-enemy Apophis is dying and seeks sanctuary with O’Neill. But what he really wants is a new host in exchange for his knowledge of the Goa’uld. Will O’Neill grant his request or send him back to the Goa’uld to face his fate?
Holiday - Jackson’s body is swapped with that of an old Goa’uld enemy named Ma’chello. As Jackson lies dying in the alien’s aging body, O’Neill and Teal’c accidentally switch forms too-and unless the alien is captured, all three will be trapped in their new bodies forever.
One False Step - On a routine reconnaissance mission, the SG-1 team discovers a new, friendly life form. But the encounter turns deadly for the new race because of a virus SG-1 inadvertently introduces. Can SG-1 develop a vaccine before this plague eradicates a peaceful civilization?
Show and Tell - A young boy mysteriously appears at Stargate Command and pleads for help, claiming the Goa’uld are chasing him to find a race of invisible beings. But the SG-1 team doesn’t know that the invisible aliens actually plan to destroy humanity-and their invasion has already begun.

General Hammond summons Colonel Jack O'Neill out of retirement to embark on a secret rescue mission. O'Neill confesses that he disobeyed orders to destroy the Stargate on Planet Abydos, and that scientist Daniel Jackson may still be alive. Arriving on Abydos with his team, O'Neill meets up once again with the scientist, who has discovered a giant elaborate cartouche in hieroglyphics. All signs point to the fact that this is a map of many Stargates that exist throughout the galaxy - a development that makes the dream of the SG-1 team to travel throughout the universe in time a reality.
Season 2 is a lot better than season 1. the characters are more comfortable with their roles and there ismore humour in the stories which adds a nice touch. meeting a race of goa'uld that aren't actually goa'uld and despise them in every way, giving carter's father a chance to overcome his cancer and have a better relationship with his daughter, travelling back to 1969 and meeting leiutenant Hammond. this is all in a days work for this mismatched team. highly recommended.
Stargate in Season 2 really finds its stride with respect to all aspects of production.
The acting and character specifics are much more fleshed out, and we begin to see the setup of RDA and Chris Judge performing Humor while Shanks and Carter read mumbo jumbo details about some magical/scientific objects. It really starts to get fun here as the Writers also pick up their game with some great plotlines such as the introduction of the Tok'ra and a great finale in Out of Mind.
