Episode 17: Disclosure General Hammond and the Pentagon are forced to reveal the existence of the Stargate to other world governments. Playing off fears that the US military has too much control, Senator Kinsey suggests that General Hammond be relieved of his command and that the civilian-run NID oversee the Stargate program.
Episode 18: Forsaken Exploring an off-world planet, SG-1 discovers a crashed ship and three human survivors who claim to be under constant attack by hostile aliens. While Carter helps repair the ship's computer, she lears that the survivors are hiding a secret... and things may not be all they seem.
Episode 19: The Changeling Teal'c mysteriously begins to lose his grip on reality and is haunted by visions of an alternate existence where he is a normal human being. As his paranoia deepens, Teal'c must rely on the help and comfort of his old friend Daniel Jackson to determine where his dreams end... and his reality begins.
Episode 20: Memento SG-1 accompanies the X-53 on its maiden voyage into deep space. When the ship suddenly drops out of hyper-space, SG-1 is stranded with no means of getting back to Earth. Their only option lies in exploring a nearby planet where a Stargate is thought to be located. But O'Neill must first convince its inhabitants that they come in peace - a debate that could mean the end of SG-1.

I thought this Season was just as good as the others! I liked Jonas very much - but still preferred Daniel. I think it would've been good if both of them could've stayed in SGC in the 7th Season. It was good to see Daniel in some of the epidsode, though sometimes annoying as an ascended being he wasn't allowed to help. I particaulary liked the episode where Teal'c dreams that he is a fireman, Daniel turns up in that one too.
I think that if you are a SG1 fan you still need this season in your collection, I don't believe it's a let down.
season six isn't the greatest season ever, but it has some good parts. it is hard to imagine michael shanks acting in any of these episodes and i think it was time for him to take a break, corin nemic was just starting to make an impact when he was dropped in the beginning of the seventh season in favour of shanks' returning. episodes like metamorphisis, full circle, alliegence and some others are quite good and really help the season along.
Season 6 may be alot of peoples least favourite season due to the main cast change. Michael Shanks' Jackson is removed from the main Sg1 team and Corin Nemec which we met in Season 5 fills the spot. He is a good replacement and just as he starts to please us he is then replaced by Shanks for the next season.
Still if you can get over the cast change this season is great once again, starting off with the Redemption 2 parter which sets up the season story arc and this is followed by great eps such as Prometheus, Prophecy and Dull Circle as everything does come full circle in a good season.
