season 2 of true blood is a fun watch, sookie is hired to go to dallas by eric to assist in finding the sheriff of area 5 Godric (which happens to be erics maker). you have bills maker come into the picture, sookie getting kidnaped, explotions and sookie sucking silver out of erics chest, and then you have the maenad back in Bon Temps causing trouble, being a fan of the books i thought i might not like the show but i was happily proved wrong, i enjoyed how they addapted the story and put their changes in.

The second series proves more trouble is around the corner for all characters both alive and dead. Though I dont find this season to be as good as the first or third, it is still worth watching it.

I'm sure my mother in law who we gave this series to would really be enjoying it if she had been given the first season before watching the second as promised by Fishpond.

But because the staff at Fishpond are obviously not smart enough to provide the first season before the second, she hasn't even watched it yet.

So thanks Fishpond for disappointing service - i will be sure to let my friends know how efficient you are!!!

Tru Blood is ashow that is based around Vampires, doing well due to the new vampire craze thanks to Twilight and the like. Apart from this though, Tru Blood is quite a good show with interesting stroyline and well developed characters. I thought Season 2 was a bit weird at first but finally go on its way toa very good and 'over-compoctaed' endind but nevertheless well done. This show seem to get better as it goes along and i would recommend this product.

Whilst differing from the books that isn't always a bad thing. After all they are only based on the books. Not adapted.
Season Two picks up from the cliff hanger ending. Is the body in the car the beloved Lafayette? Well for those who have yet to see it I am not going to give it away.
S2 sees Sookie and Bill travel to Dallas in order to find Eric's maker, the 2000 year old Godric. Sookie gets mixed up with the Fellowship of the Sun, the Vampire hating church group of Louisiana.
Maryanne the love to hate Maenad character pulls Bon Temp under her spell, will Sookie and Bill be able to save the town from her throes?.
Just as tantaslising as the first season. Until we are blessed with the 3rd Season next month Trubies will have to settle for S2 on DVD and Blu-ray.

Season Two of True Blood is amazing Anna Paquin aka Sookie Stackhouse is fabulous what a terrific actress great to see an actress from New Zealand doing so well. Having not read the books myself I found myself glued to TV and watched all of the episodes one after another without moving each episode leaves you wanting more......I am patiently awaiting the next season. If you like vampires and raunchy out there plots in a series then you will love this. Excellent!!

The second season of True Blood follows a few parallel storylines in which Sookie Stackhouse and vampire bill must travel to Dallas in order to find the missing 2000-year old vampire Godric who happens to be Eric's maker.
Meanwhile back in Bon Temps the town falls under the control of a Maenad from Sam's past who creates mayhem and destruction.
