This is a great romantic comedy.
Even though it isn't the most unpredictable movie out there, it is very clever and has many funny bits.
I'd never heard of it before but i saw it in the video store and got it simply because it stars Sandra Bullock and Hugh Grant, two of my favourite actors and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Sandra and Hugh are great together, this is definately a must have
this is a rather typical romantic comedy, not much outside the box, and hugh grant plays his usual character, nothing new there yet again. some good acting from bullock though, she plays a believable role and provides most of the comedic moments in this movie. for all fans of rom com, this wont disappoint.
Great chemsitry between Sandra Bullock and Hugh Grant, really enjoyed this film - more so the second time that I watched it. He's infuriating the whole time but somehow you can't help liking him (his usual charm!). She is just plain sick of him and resigns as his secretary because he is so ungrateful and demanding. He is always nice-natured but relies on her for everything and begins to realise how much he needs - or wants - her in his life.
Funny, sweet and just a bit silly - in other words, a good romantic comedy which will make you smile as you snuggle down with a bowl of popcorn if that's the kind of movie you like. Lawyer Lucy (Sandra Bullock) and good natured but vacuous figurehead George (Hugh Grant) have instant chemistry, and had me laughing like a loon throughout.
