Underbelly: A Tale Of Two Cities Uncut– The Mr Asia Story Uncut takes us back to Australia, 1976. A generation before Alphonse Gangitano and Carl Williams achieved notoriety, an even bigger crime wave rocked the country. Heroin hit the nation like a tsunami. Drug money flooded the underworld and with the new money came a breed of hard men and beautiful women.
Two names stood above all others – blazing across the underworld and changing the face of organised crime in Australia forever – 'Aussie' Bob Trimbole (Roy Billing) and Terry Clark (Matthew Newton). Aided by a network of corrupt NSW police officers and judges, their 'organisation' operates under the radar, and they quite literally get away with murder.
Underbelly: A Tale Of Two Cities Uncut – The Mr Asia Story Uncut features outstanding performances from an impressive cast including Anna Hutchinson, Peter O'Brien, Dieter Brummer, Dustin Clare, Damon Gameau, , Samuel Johnson, Asher Keddie, Damian de Montemas, Nathan Page, Matt Passmore, Peter Phelps, Tony Poli, Kate Ritchie, Martin Dingle Wall and John Wood.
Watched Underbelly a tale of two cities when it was on TV. A show you would look forward to watch each week, will be buying the DVD's as i would like to watch the show again. Not as good as the first Underbelly, However still a good show.
Would make a good present for "that guy" who is hard to buy for.
