Really funny "mockumentary" (fake documentary) by Australian comedian Chris Lilley. He plays 6 different people all of whom were entered as potential Australian of the Year characters. This show has plenty of truly hilarious moments where you laugh out loud. The characters are crazy and over the top, yet parts of them remind us of people we know. Sometimes I felt it was a little mean though and the mocking went over the top. Still, very original and funny. Great acting too.
This Tv series was a lot of fun when it showed a few years ago. You have to already like this sort of thing (mockumentary style as it is) but the results are very funny. Chris Lilly plays all the characters (male and female) who have been nominated for Australian of The Year (for various reasons). Very funny - my favourite: the roller. Inspired lunacy.
