Brando's back catalogue can sometimes be a mixed bag (he made some rubbish films in his time) but this excellent film is certainly one to risk your money on. He is superb, and the rest of the film more than matches him too. He plays a confused, conflicted Nazi officer in this great World War II film that looks at both sides of the conflict. Long but superbly well made.
