2011 is the centenary of Robert Johnson's birth and in addition it was in 1941 that Muddy Waters first recorded on Stovall's Cotton Plantation in Mississippi. This has given the opportunity to create a campaign spearheaded by a 2 CD compilation tracing the impact and influence of the blues on popular music. I was extremely happy with this CD it was a great collection of blues. This
collection is great and I was happy with most of it. I didnt really think ZZ top
should be there but I can let it slide. Any CD with BB King and Eric Clapton you know
will be good and this does not disappoint. I would indeed recommend this to any Blues fan as I was not disappointed
