A film that stands up to repeated viewing is complemented by an album that has the same effect. The musical stars make cameos to perform one track each, Aretha as the waitress in a diner tears into 'Think' while Cab Calloway dons his best white suit for a spectacular 'Minnie The Moocher'. The 'brothers' are supported by most of Booker T. And The MGs and they deliver some rousing numbers including a bottle-throwing 'Rawhide' and a loose 'Gimme Some Lovin''. Aykroyd and Belushi could have become the Sam And Dave of the 80s. Aykroyd tried it again in 1998 with reasonable success.

A great cd soundtrack for a great movie - all the classic hits in one place that will just blow you away if you liked the movie. They're great songs for singing along to, and a great party cd to get everyone dancing too. A classic, classic cd that is an essential piece of any soundtrack collection you have!
Wonderful CD!! All the hits from the movie, full length (added length in some cases).
"She Caught The Katy" is the fantastic opener to the CD along with the very well known and funny "Peter Gunn Theme." Put this CD on at a party and watch the people start singing along (seriously ages 12-80 I hear people singing tracks from the movie all the time).
Great Cd, packed with all the hits from the movie. This is a mad cd to have at a party everyone gets down to the blues brothers! haha the best songs are John Lee Hoookers Boom Boom Boom Boom and Mini the Moocha. This album rocks out as hard as the movie and is a must for any fans.
