2010 will see the legendary Café De Mar celebrate its 30th anniversary. Situated on the island of
Ibiza in the town of San Antonio de Portmany, Café Del Mar arguably kick-started the Chillout scene
with its laidback vibes and grooves. In 1994, the first official "Café Del Mar" CD was released and
today Café del Mar stands as the most respected and highly imitated chill-out music compilation
series, selling millions of copies around the world.
Volumes 5 & 6 were the last of the series to be compiled by José Padilla and capture the scene at it's
