Opeths earlier work and probably some of their more enjoyable stuff. While being one of their heaviest albums, this is still extremely beautiful. The instruments have been played very well, some very good songs. I also reccomend anything else by this wonderful band, this is good quality music, buy it.

This is melodic death metal/doom metal/folk/acoustic music at its best. The acoustic interludes found in each track are soothing and relaxing. The harsh vocals are awesome (a little bit different comparing them to Opeth's latest stuff) and the melodies carried by the electric guitars are beyond brilliant. Check out the lyrics too (very poetic). Recommended for any Opeth fan.
