Performer Notes - Disturbed: David Draiman (vocals); Dan Donegan (guitars, keyboards); Mike Wengren (drums).
- Additional personnel: John Moyer (bass guitar).
- Five years after Disturbed's crushing debut, the Chicago nu-metal stalwarts offer their third full-length, TEN THOUSAND FISTS. Reunited with long-time producer Johnny K and new bassist John Moyer (Union Underground), Disturbed's return boasts a revitalized edge. TEN THOUSAND FISTS carries the metallic fire of THE SICKNESS, perfectly balanced with the melodic sensibility of 2002's BELIEVE. From the mosh pit-inspiring title track to the provocative and socially conscious lyrics of tracks such as "Deify" and "Sacred Lie," it is abundantly clear that Disturbed has further evolved their brutal-yet-refined approach. TEN THOUSAND FISTS also features striking booklet artwork by comic book legend Todd McFarlane.

I loved this album, I consider it Disturbed's best to date (although their previous albums are still certainly worth looking into) and listen to it often. Overburdened, Stricken, Sacred Lie and Avarice are standouts on this CD. They have returned to the kind of sound that they used to put out when they first started out. Definitely worth purchasing.

Epic new album by Disturbed and well worth your money. You have never heard Land of Confusion sung this way for one thing. My only objection to the whole deal waas the crappy pseudo gothic cover. Come on guys, at least try something interesting!
The music more than makes up for it though and I highly recommend adding this to your collection.

Another Great metal album by Disturbed, still empowering as ever, notable songs include: Stricken, Pain Redefined, I'm Alive and Land of Confusion (a Genesis cover also done by In Flames) these songs will inspire all Disturbed fans both young and old. A great buy for all Metal and Disturbed lovers!

Awww this is the greatest disturbed c.d ever. awesome artwork on the cover and throughout the book, awesome music, and all worth the money. songs are quite commercial sounding but i didn't tend to mind, just glad they have another c.d out. heaps on songs they play on the radio so one is bound to know a few tracks.

This si disturbeds latest triumph woth their latest singles stricken and just stop, in terms of heavyness it is somewhere between the sickness and believe with some cool guitar solos, and draimens vocal work at its best its ever been, its heavier than believe but less harsh and more melodical than the sickness

This disturbs new and third album, and my god its incredible. I love it so much, I bashed it for like two weeks after I bought it. This is heavier than their last album and its more like their first effort in terms of heaviness and vocal sound, you gotta get this album.

This album is really good, although I do like Down with the Sickness and Believe better. I really do love Disturbed though, they are a good band and work well. Their music is really heavy and their lyrics rock. If you like heavy music you should get this CD. I hadn't heard them before and my friend gave me all three of their Cds and I loved them ever since. If you like Ten thousand fists then you'll like the others too.

this album brings the band back to what they started with. this is so reminicent of thier first album its not funny and i love it so much. this is more screamy than the album before it and lyricly deep and intricate. the guitars are all solid as despite the fact that fuzz left the band.
