I was slightly disapointed with this CD. It has some good singing...but not amazing.
Rosie O'Donnell was ok but not amazing as Rizzo. Megan Mullally from Will and Grace fame was good and sang with character.
There were quite a few songs that are in the movie that everyone knows that are missing from this recording including the title theme song Grease, You're The One That I Want, Hopelessly Devoted and Sandy.
In saying this there are some definate highlights in this cast recording. Sam Harris as Doody does and amazing job of Those Magic Changes and Billy Porter as Teen Angel did a fantastic job of Beauty School Dropout.
All in all it was a good album but there are some parts that were not great

This is easily the best release of Grease, with all of the vocals being heard clearly, and expressivly, its a shame that this musical didnt come to AUSTRALIA, as nothing usually does, but the cd opened my heart and soul to the original once again. Ecxellent
