- Fans of Venom rejoice for the group has released a powerful and competent metal excursion with Resurrection. This disc showcases a wider sound for the band with a well-produced recording. The music ranges from the fast and frantic to the slower and more plodding, all delivered with a style that showcases the group's originality and unique sound. They seem to lose their sense of direction occasionally, but overall this one is quite a cohesive and even CD. Highlights of the album include "All There Is Fear," "Firelight," and "Pandemonium." The release should bring in new fans for the group while still satisfying the loyal followers. ~ Gary Hill
