– Customer review on 10/06/2008 Stylistically Elbow's fourth record doesn't really deviate from what they've done before. When what you've done before is this good, why bother? Grounds For Divorce is the leadoff single, and it a fantastic bluesy tune... "I've been working on a cocktail called Grounds for Divorce" has to be the best opening line to a song this year.
Other highlights include The Fix with Richard Hawley sharing lead vocals and The Loneliness of a Tower Crane Driver.
However, probably the best thing about this album is how it all sits together to be listened to as a complete work rather than just a collection of songs.
Well worth adding to any collection.
