Of the four Kiss solo albums released in 1978, Paul Stanley's was the most Kiss-like. While Gene Simmons and Peter Criss decided to use the opportunity to explore other musical styles, Stanley--like guitarist Ace Frehley--chose to stick to what he did best. A few tracks are of a more epic nature, such as "Tonight You Belong to Me" and "Take Me Away (Together as One)," but for the most part, PAUL STANLEY is just good old straightforward rock & roll. "Move On," "Wouldn't You Like to Know Me," "It's Alright," "Love in Chains," and "Goodbye" are all hard rockers, while the more serene numbers, "Ain't Quite Right" and "Hold Me, Touch Me," fit in with the rest quite well.

Great album, all the solos were are great! Paul's has to be my second favourite, second to Ace Frehley's album, Paul and Ace to me, stayed towards the Rock sound, were as Gene and Peter went other directions, not saying it was a bad thing though!
but overall Paul's album is great, also love the covers for all the solos, apparently they didn't do too good in the charts, but for me they are up there in the top KISS albums
I think Move on is the best track on this one. I still think Gene Simmons solo album is the best of the four, but Stanley's is a close second. Very narcissistic lyrics that are typical of Paul, but this is a good Rock and Roll album. I found each solo album interesting in terms of which way each one of them went on to express themselves.
