Static-X's debut is a good Nu-metal album. Even though the 12 tracks given here may be loaded with the most simplist in guitar in drum work, it is this that makes this album so easy to listen to multiple times. With only a handful of the tracks clocking in over the 4 minute mark, these songs are quick and easy. Features "Push It", "I'm With Stupid" and "Bled For Days".
When I first herd this I was transfixiated. it was completely original.
electric thrash metal. So hard and pumping full of energy and managing to pull of a bizar kind of melody that is truely there own.
this is not a nu-metal band this is more in league with bands like fear factory and ministry splashed with a hint of rammstien. I think that static x really found a gap in metal claiming this segment as there own
awsome album great way to make a first impression
This CD is good, I think Static-X is a great band but you really have to be in the mood to listen to a whole CD. Their music is a lot more heavy than most bands, I don't know what they do but I can't listen to them if I'm in a trying to relax mood. If I'm in a louder mood then I can listen.
This album is the only reason I got into this paticular type of music.
Inpaticular; 'Push It' which offers very little eletric atmospherics that this band has become known for and replaces it with raw, unrelenting screaming from both Wayne Static and Tony Campos.
Every track on this album is awsome and is very much worth it at this price
static x isnt the best band to walk the earth but they manage to pull of some really good stuff, push it is an awesome song and you gotta love im with loser, this is their second best album (machine is the best) and well worth a listne to if you like metal or nu-metal
i really hate nu-metal, but this album is rather good. Every song here is good, with great vocals, heavy guitar riffs, industrial techno loops and average drumming. Really catchy stuff and by far Static X's best effort to date. Too bad these guys had to sell out and stop sounding unique.
