Nickelback: Ryan Peake, Chad Kroeger (vocals, guitar); Mike Kroeger (bass guitar); Daniel Adair (drums).
On 2005's ALL THE RIGHT REASONS, the Canadian heavy-rock band Nickelback offers up more of its straightforward, guitar-fueled anthems. The pummeling opening track, "Follow You Home," features a no-frills Southern-rock vibe bolstered by the presence of ZZ Top guitarist/vocalist Billy Gibbons (who also appears on the jam-like closer, "Rockstar"), while the crushing "Side of a Bullet" is dedicated to Pantera's Dimebag Darrell, and includes an overdubbed solo by the late six-string hero.
As always, frontman Chad Kroeger's gritty voice remains Nickelback's calling card, and his emotive singing carries every tune, most notably the nostalgic "Photograph" and "Far Away," a tender, echo-laden ballad. Kroger has never met a guitar effect that he didn't like, as evidenced by the revved-up "Next Contestant," which relates the, ahem, difficulties of having a beautiful girlfriend. Though ALL THE RIGHT REASONS is slightly more eclectic than the group's past releases, it's unmistakably a Nickelback outing, and fans of the band are sure to be pleased.

Ok, I want to say something good about this album, but I cant. Because there is nothing.
All Im going to say is that all the songs sound the same, not to mention it sounds identical to most of the infinite repeat songs you hear on the radio, and it sounds just the same to so many other crap bands out there.
There is nothing at all special or interesting about this album, except for the fact they manage to sell it.
For those of you who enjoy your mainstream rock, this CD is definitely is for you. However for those of you looking for a new taste & a band emerging with a new sound don’t buy this CD! It’s as mainstream as it gets! I personally hated this CD it felt as if it had all been done before and these songs were just copies of others work. If I were you, I wouldn’t buy this CD. If you don’t believe me go ahead, just don’t expect too much. A huge disappointment - it's strictly average.......
This is a brilliant album! My favourite songs are Photograph, Far Away, Rickstar, and Next Contestant. When I saw the music video for Far Away I almost cried it was so good. If you haven't seen the video then you won't know what I'm talking about but if you have than I'm sure you understand. I bought this album on impulse really. I'd never heard much of Nickelback before this and now I'm hooked.
Get this album!
You won't be disappointed!
Great Album!
Every album keeps getting better and better.
It may take a couple of sessions to love the WHOLE album, but once you get in the rythm, you won't stop playing it.
Nickelback are legends, that's all i need to say.
love this album from nickelback! once you get past all the rather average radio releases, namely photograph, you will find a wicked rock album that will pretty mcuh appeal to the whole family. tons of emotional songs on here too, such as "Saving Me". i love the track "Next Contestant" as well as "Side of a bullet". this is a real must own cd!!
I like this album. Got lots of beautiful songs like Far Away and Photograph, but my dad's and my favourite is Rock Star, it's all about the rock star life stlye, well the sterotypical one anyway, and the guitar is just grand. Other favourites include Next Contestent and Animals.
This album by nickelback Is and ok album to own if you have the money and time. I found it a bit average and nothing special. The song photograph was the most creative and had some credibility. On the whole this album is good but only a true fan of nickelback will really receive enjoyment from this.
Oh my lord is this album horrible, nickle back has gotten popier and popier and when the long road was released i thoought it shouldnt go any more so, but it did, the long road is the last album fo theirs worth listening to, this is just tooo poppy, go back to rock grrrr, still photograph is an ok song
a great rock album by a great rock band, Nickelback has shown their variety and their ability to be not only a great cover band(which they used to be) but a great originals band, with brilliant sonsg like 'someday', 'photograph' there is an acoustic version of someday on this album which in my opinion is better than their first original one, a band to keep an eye out in the future
This is another really fantastic album by Nickelback, with some wicked tunes on it that really rock out. So many hits on here! The last two are really good. The only quibble I have is that the album is quite short, and could have been longer for the price it is. All round, a good CD though.
