Yea... Jared Leto can definatly sing... but for me some of it seemed to techno for what was being done with the guitar but this is coming from a producers point of view but all in all a very good album and well done guys

Jared Leto dam hes one sexy man lol. I love 30 seconds to mars the song from yesterday is fatastic my boyfriend even likes them and hes one of those get that shit out what a gay song but i seen him tapping to the songs so they are 10/10 on my opinon of fatastic music and its better that they play their own music which is a thumbs up in my opinon.

Absoully the best album of this year,this album just blew my mind and just keeps on blowing everytime i hear the tracks....jared leto..mmmm mm please whats not to love about this album...buryme has to be my fav song...this really is a great album...i cant sing praises aboutvit enough!!

30 seconds to mars, isn’t that Jared Leto’s band? Yes, yes it is. Now that I have said that, lets all give this album, ‘A Beautiful Lie’, a fair trial. Most people would pass this off as rubbish purely because Jared made a name for himself as an actor. Now this is one fellow who certainly can do both. After giving this album a good and thorough listen I have come to the conclusion that Jared Leto is a legend and we should give him more credit.
From song one to 10 this album was pleasure to listen to. Each song in itself sounds like a movie or a movie soundtrack. ‘Attack’ is a winner of an opener for the album as it hooks the listener in with real anticipation for the rest of the album. Jared’s vocals are amazing, this man can sing and he knows just what style suits him. Although at times he sounds as though he is wanting to go further with his vocals, and on the final track, ‘A Modern Myth’, he achieves that by belting it out. Not to over look the other members of this band, they too should have a pat on the back. When really listening to this album, the music absorbs you. It’s breathtaking and captures all of your attention. These four men have come to a point in their musical lives where they are one with the music, and it really shows through.
With, or without Jared’s fame I believe this album would still be received the same by the public because of the pure quality of the music. Where the music counts, these guys are well and truly there.
On this album there are two bonus tracks. Now after listening to them it is understandable why they are bonus tracks and not on the actual album. I would advise to anyone new to this album not to listen to these bonus tracks unless you’re forced to or want to kill some time but other than that they are not worth listening to.
Back to the brighter side of things, this album is really worth having a listen to or buying. Discard everything you have heard of actors turned musicians and just soak up the music.

i found that i loved all the singles but one that i just cant stop listening to is the kill. i dont know what it is maybe the music or the lyrics or the whole package. it is a great album and it was worth the money that i had spent on it. great buy all round

Was It A Dream? is probably the best track on the album a beautiful lie. Many people stereotype 30 seconds to mars as a typically emo sounding band, however in my opinion they have something a little different to offer in their sound and this album is great to listen to, lots of variety.

A beautiful lie is my favourite track on this awesome album. 30 seconds to mars is a very popular band and rightfully so. If you like softcore emo then this is definately a band you should give a listen. This cd is a must hav in every music collection.

This cd is a wonderful mixture of great lyrics backed by an amazing musical base and truely inspiring vocal track. Every song is set to satisfy and there is very little if any fault to be found here. An all round amazing peice of work that I am sure the band is proud of.

this album includes the mainstream singles the kill and from yesterday as well as other good tracks on this album that includes beautiful lie, attack and the fantasy. i have to admit the begining of the album is better than the rest of it but nevertheless a good album. i would recommend this album to people.

The singles are the good songs; Attack, The Kill, From Yesterday... but there are a few other hidden gems on the album. This is an album which you can easily have on in the background, or blast and sing along too if you wish. I prefer the beginning of the CD where the songs are 'rockier'. This album definitely has seen the band move on from their self-titled debut album and are heading into mainstream territory.
