An excellent recording and with the extra interviews at the end made it even more enjoyable.

I just LOVE this - but it has as much to do with my childhood as anything else. My kids and I listen to it a lot when we are eating in the evings. One downside is that there are quite a lot of filler tracks though - meldeys and hilarious polite 1960s interviews with the actors and director for example which some people might not like

A timeless classic which still entertains today...

The songs are bought to life time and time again continuously whether it be by remixes by todays top artists or a trip through time at the theatre where you can sing along to the magic that is Maria and her band of talented charges.


Mr Von Trapps sweet melodic voice enhances the beautiful song "edelweiss" (sp)
