  • They get their name from a Rage Against the Machine song, and their anger from latter-day hardcore punk, so it is not surprising that Sweden's Raised Fist create a case for a compelling blend of those two styles. SOUND OF THE REPUBLIC is the band's fourth album, and shows them nobly advancing beyond their sphere of influence, incorporating elements of hip hop and industrial music into a ceaseless, powerful performance of aggression and anxiety.
