this movie is a funny movie, it might not have that intention but don't you just want to sing along with the songs. The sound track features all the classics such as 'spoonful of sugar' and other great songs that will have you sing with from start to finish. I think it is well worth to have so you can listen to years later and think about the good times.

Mary Poppins is a fantastic old classic movie
It is about two children who need the perfect nanny.
They write a song about the perfect nanny and sing it
to their mother and there father. But their father doesn’t
like it and rip’s it up and throws it into the fire and I wont tell you the rest
of the story or it will spoil it for when you want to watch it which you probably
already have. I am 11 years old and this is a good movie

Mary Poppins is the ultimate kids movie. It has just about everything in it! This soundtrack is just awesome. All the songs are catchy - I still know them all off by heart ten years later! There are songs to make you smile, songs to make you dance, songs to make you laugh, cry, sing, shout, think and go to sleep with. One of those albums that every kid needs to have.

I admit I ahven't really paid a lot of attention to the second disc. ALthough I'm sure it's superb and very interesting, I just can't stay away from the memories that the first disc inspires! Who here doesn't remember laughing with glee at the penguin dance? And who can honestly say they didn't shed a little tear while Mary sings of the poor beggar woman singing "Feed the birds, tuppance a bag"? Well, not me that's for sure. Whenever I listen to this album, it's like being taken back to when I was a little kid, sitting on the couch with my family loving everysecond of this magical world. I HIGHLY recommend this cd to EVERYONE.
