Those who pick up the soundtrack will be pleased to know that those tapped for contributions include the godfather of funk George Clinton ("Atomic Dog") and second-wave ska pioneers Madness ("Wings of a Dove"). The bulk of the album is occupied by younger artists, though; there are probably more than a few Madness albums in the collection of Save Ferris ("I Know"), while the chirpy pop of Letters to Cleo (who gamely tackle the Cheap Trick classic "I Want You To Want Me" and Nick Lowe's "Cruel to be Kind) is the ideal aural complement to the film's light-hearted feel. this is a great soundtrack from a great movie. the sound track is suprising ly hip by one that is based on shakespeare and stuff. this is a good buy if you enjoy the movei like i did. i find that this is good to sing along to with mates. i love the first track i Want You To Want Me by Letters To Cleo, o so true, who doesnt want someone to want them!

i love this osundtrack, its so modern and funky. this one would really appeal to teenagers and/or fans of the teenage classic movie. my favourite songs on here have got to be Even Angels Fall - Jessica Riddle, Want You To Want Me - Letters To Cleo and Weakness In Me, The - Joan Armatrading. this is one of my favourites for sure!
