Performer Notes - Rudy Ray Moore's second record in his re-creation as original pimp-comic Dolemite, THIS PUSSY BELONGS TO ME was released quickly in 1970 to capitalize on Moore's sudden stardom. While its unveiling came fast, it was no rush job: by its very nature it could not be. As with all the early Dolemite records, Moore recorded it in his home among gently inebriated friends who egged the emcee on, alternately laughing and cheering his X-rated narratives, stories that ranged from the dark allegory of "Signifying Monkey" to the sexual slapstick of "Hurricane Annie Meets Dolemite."
