Absolutely agree,price can not be correct, must be a price error. Sent an email at least 2 days ago asking Fishpond was this price correct. Fishpond claim to respond to emails within 48 hrs, still no response.

Over inflating a price just so it looks better on special isn't even legal is it?
These base plates are great for the pirates sets. But seriously there must be something wrong with the pricing as they are usually NZD $9.95 in toy stores.
Base plates like these are an essential for the keen LEGO builder, regardless of their colour. Flat surfaces are a rarity around here ... and building LEGO on the carpet can be tricky. So pull out the base plates and keep on building! We've also used them to move LEGO creations from one room to another, or transport LEGO creations to competitions. They took a little to get used to but now they are invaluable.
