Have 2 explorers and the kids just love them. We have an assortment of games from family travelling to the US. Stumbled across this site as didn't have any luck locating a NZ supplier of games! Happy to find you fishpond! Am really keen on the chargers, so they might be the next purchase for us.

We have 2 of these Explorers and even after 6 months, they are still being played with everyday.
Our 4 year old and 2 years old received these for Christmas along with an assortment of games. Money well spent! Whilst the girls think they are playing games, they are actually learning along the way with all sorts of educational games. We take these everywhere with us (especially visiting people without kids!) and the girls are easily able to entertain themselves! Cannot recommend highly enough!
Love it! No where in NZ will they sell the explorers so fishpond has the thumbs up from me. Chews batteries so would be nice if NZ could get the battery chargers in like in the US and AU otherwise will import! $99 couldn't go wrong
Wow I am absolutely blown away by the graphics and standard of this. I was torn between this and the Nintendo DS but opted for the Leapster Explorer as I felt it would be sturdier. It doesn't really chew through batteries, the games are fab. may daughter is 4 and quite comfortably manages the Dora, Ni Hao Kai Lan, Princess and Mr pencil games. Definately recommend it - hopefully more games will be released.
I just recieved 2 explorers I purchased through fishpond. One already only sometimes responds and will not fully shutdown without removing the batterys. I could connect neither to the online leapster connect even though I disabled my firewalls. And this product is unsupported by Leapfrog in New Zealand and NO supplier I know of has the catriages or will not supply them to a New Zealand customer.
