For those who appreciate classic, good quality wooden toys that help your children to think then you can't go past Melissa and Doug. This game is no exception. Have you ever noticed how curious your toddler is. Do they like to play with your keys or try to put them in the door. THis board offers a safe way for toddlers to explore with latches that are secured to a board so that fingers can explore without items ending up in their mouth.
This puzzle is truly wonderful! At 2 he played with it very slowly, exploring the latches and eventually learning the skills to work each door. Now at almost 3 he likes to talk about the different colours and what is behind each door. We get lots of comments on what a great puzzle it is and friends kids love to play with it when they visit :) Highly recommend this Melissa & Doug product!
I bought this as a Christmas prneest and it was a disappointment. Within 15 minutes of playing with it the mailbox literally fell apart. There must have been a problem with the glue or something. All the wooden joints broke. I had to spend about an hour re-gluing each piece of wood back together. I would recommend that you avoid this toy. It looks very appealing in the product description but it is such low quality it will bring more disappointment than happiness for your child.
