Sarah LuAnn Perkins loves creating stories and pictures filled with whimsy and wonder. She has a BFA in Illustration from Brigham Young University. She lives in Upstate NY with her husband and two kids, who help remind her when it rains that puddles are really fun to jump in-she tends to forget without their help.
"A sonically rich story that captures the simple joys of rainy days
at home." --Kirkus Reviews
"This is a tale both about the weather and about weathering
disappointment. The joyful puddle-jumping “FWOOSH!” that ends the
book should have preschoolers looking forward to rainy days." --The
Horn Book
