Sally Spratt (Illustrator)
The saying goes that if you do what you love you'll never have to
work a day in your life. For artist Sally Spratt, it has been a
case of draw what you love - with her passion for illustration
flourishing into a beautiful career.
Sally is the creative behind The Lust List, a collection of
illustrations that has become as luxurious and aspirational as the
products that inspired its beginnings. The Lust List began in 2013
as an Instagram account that Sally created to share lifelike
drawings of things, she coveted but couldn't have, from glamorous
shoes and must-have handbags to runway fashion, cult beauty
products and sparkling jewels. Now, with over 120k followers, Sally
has become one of Australia's most in-demand illustrators and
creative influencers.
Sally's work is rich in detail, colour and playfulness and has
adorned everything from full-scale murals to custom packaging on
beauty products. She has also illustrated items including yoga
mats, shower caps, tote bags, notebooks, postcards,
larger-than-life cut-outs, coffee cups as well as creating
stop-motion style animations using her drawings.
Sophia the Show Pony is Sally's first children's book.
