About the Author

Mathew Forstater is Associate Professor of Economics and BlackStudies, and Director of the Center for Full Employment and PriceStability, Department of Economics, University of Missouri-Kansas City.Previously a visiting scholar at the Jerome Levy Economics Institute ofBard College he has taught at Bard and Gettysburg College and remains aresearch associate with the Levy Economics Institute of Bard College.He has been published widely on political economy and the history ofacademic thought in a range of academic journals.
