I wasn’t surprised when I found out this book was terrible at providing creative ideas for new quilting projects. The moment I saw the cover I wasn’t impressed. I’ve read this book at a friends, and I can assure you it’s a waste of money for any body, quilters or otherwise. The ideas are outdated, and obscure. I do not recommend this one, but suggest you look through some others first.Quilting has always been a favourite pass time for my mother grandmother and aunts. They have taught me some of the craft through generations passing of the skill. However, I find that this book was very appealing for them to learn new techniques, incorporate old with the new patterns available and make quilting a lot more fun than when I first learnt it as a child. Now my daughter is getting into it, and this book along with all the other modern publishings are the catalysts to igniting a passion for quilting. Highly recommended.
