This book is phenomenal. It covers a wide range of topics and
approaches to self-development offering tips, tactics and
perspectives that are both helpful and practical. It is a
compilation of diverse voices, viewpoints and backgrounds. There is
something for everyone and rarely will you see so many great
leaders in the human potential field all in one book. It weaves
wisdom, insight, guidance, life lessons and interesting, colorful
glimpses into the various authors' lives. The chapters are
deliciously bite-sized with groups of them supporting one of the
four areas of focus, Awareness, Growth, Action, and Impact. The
book is well organized and the content not only holds your
attention but leaves you with proven tools you can use for a
lifetime. Highly recommend. - Andrew J. Norman
This book was hard to put down! I loved that the ideas were well
organized, and each section was followed by relatable questions.
Each contributing writer shared personal experiences and valuable
insights that would knock anyone's complacency off of the shelf!
Mine included. I loved the variety of experiences that would touch
different people uniquely. Leonard D. DeCarmine employed sound
concepts and provides multi-dimensional motivation. Read the e-book
and getting the printed book to keep the workbook-like aspect at
hand on my bookshelf. - Mary G.
I recently purchased a wonderful book 1% more by Leonard DD
Carmine. This is not your ordinary group of authors, and I was
especially taken by chapter 14 by Alicia Thorpe. She has gone
through life experiences that would have ground others down until
she learned life lessons that show how each of us has the inborn
power to alter our lives in a positive manner. This is a great
light to shine for everyone.
Another outstanding chapter 18 by Becky Norwood. Her story is very
profound and comes from real-life experiences that show no matter
how bad what happens to us in life, if we don't except others'
negative opinions, we can overcome and prosper.
This book 1% more lives up to its name if you are not on your right
path and living towards God, that is your choice. But remember at
any time you have the power to alter your life's path. Just do 1%
More. This is the wonderful truth that you will find throughout
this book.-Tom Loegering, Chairman, Golf Program in Schools

The focus of this book is on eliminating self-limiting beliefs and
behaviors. It proposes a path to personal transformation through
self-awareness, personal growth, and taking actions that will
impact your future. It breaks these principles up into chapters,
and the 24 authors each contribute supporting work toward that
common narrative. Each chapter ends with questions for
self-reflection, similar to a workbook. The only commonality among
the authors is self-titling themselves as coaches, each claiming to
have a unique approach. They come from a diversity of education,
backgrounds and life paths. Most had a life-changing trauma that
they worked through by applying what they preach.
The chapters are short, clear and concise. That formula makes for a
quick read for what could otherwise appear to be a daunting book
with over 300 pages. Once the reader moves past the shallow
capitalistic narrative equating "success" with wealth, business
owners, entrepreneurs, and influencers (their target audience,
perhaps?) The content becomes worthwhile. There are many
opportunities for an epiphany or aha moment to take place for you
in these chapters, but, as always, the responsibility for making
changes in your life rests upon you. Perhaps this can put you on
track, - David T.
