Reviews

"A unique feature of this book is that it includes the reflections of her now-adult children and credits them as co-authors, adding to the book's depth and authenticity."- Judy Smith, Oregon Parent Meet-Up Coordinator"One of the best practical guides for raising gifted children, combining the charm, richness, and humor of personal family experiences with a gifted educator's practical knowledge. It could be titled 'Gifted Children: The Missing Instruction Manual'". - Dale Stuart, Ph.D., Clinical Psychologist"I love this book and the way the author, who has a doctorate in gifted education, wove important, current research about giftedness into stories of raising gifted children, accompanied by fascinating personalized narratives from her successful grown-up gifted children. This is a resource for parenting gifted children that I highly recommend!"-Sally Reis, Ph.D., Professor, University of Connecticut"With understanding and humor...the author describes her gifted children, her successes and mistakes, and offers practical suggestions that feel like a conversation with a good friend.
