ABOUT THE AUTHOR (SURESH SHARMA) Suresh is a proven global enterprise builder, serial entrepreneur, a thought-leader, and an internationally acknowledged business leader - known for growing businesses - big or small - be they in a world's leading Fortune 100 corporation or several of his entrepreneurial ventures. His decades of practical experience - spanning over USA, Europe and Asia - reflect in his deep understanding of - people, cultures, work ethics, and their competencies. He is known for his pragmatic vision, inventions, 'hands-on' operational excellence, and significant business contributions - over the past 30 years - in manufacturing, R&D, global sourcing, aerospace, e-Business, education, healthcare, defense and energy industries. Some of the organizations included GE Energy, British Aerospace, Rolls Royce, MATRA, and NASA Langley. His early career started as a Naval Aviation Officer. This is his second book. Suresh prefers to write only if he has had extensive first-hand experiences of having done it. The first one was a by-product of his decade long pioneering role in the Globalization and Digitization efforts of the 90s and early 2000s. The experiences he gained in over 15 countries - helped him understand the differences between American Way of Life - and the rest of the world. This book combines his entrepreneurial experiences with that global understanding. He strongly feels that business leaders, today, more than ever, ought to share their understanding of life and business ecosystems - virtually in real time. This is vital for setting timely directions - later is too late. He is an active community mentor, a well-known keynote speaker, a strategic advisor, and now a private equity investor. Suresh serves, or has served, on the Board of Directors (or Advisors) of several big or small organizations globally: ventures, non-profits, universities, and publicly traded companies.
