About the Author

Thomas Hraynyk is Canadian-born from Oshawa, Ontario. At forty-three, he is accomplishing a long dream of publishing his first novel. Through many obstacles over the past five years, he has persevered and worked hard to get to this point. After his son was born, his fiancée tragically passed away, leaving him mentally and financially bankrupt. While living on his friend's sofa, he began the process of starting over, which included asking for help when feeling suicidal. Working through all of that, he found himself wanting to write again and started looking at the story he had started years ago. Over the past two years, he has committed to making it happen and learning the process. Thanks to the support of his family and friends, he focused on showing his son and anyone who has suffered loss, depression, addiction, and mental health issues that you can achieve your goals. Never give up on yourself and believe in yourself. Life is not easy, and things can happen in heartbreaking ways. You can get through it.
