Julie Bergfors lives in Crawfordsville, Indiana with her husband,
Dan and two dogs, Addy and Dac. She is a retired first grade
teacher and the mom of three grown children, who are the
inspiration for her stories. Abuela's Sombrero is her second

Watercolor has always been Leslie Warren's favorite vehicle to
deliver themes of faith, family, and beauty. Retired from 26 years
of teaching 8th grade science, she loves the extra time to paint.
She is wife to Charlie, mom to 3 daughters and 3 sons-in-law, and
Grama to 10 grandchildren. Abuela's Sombrero is her second book to
illustrate, and she is honored to help Julie tell her
sweet story.
