This book is well paced, factual and does an excellent job of
describing the tension aboard the US ships and helicopter/air crews
and is a really good read, especially for those unfamiliar with the
‘war’ in the first place.
Anyone thirsting for the maximum detail of the period under the
spotlight will not be disappointed. It is packed with information,
covering the politics, the global impact, and the tiniest minutia
of life on board the various naval vessels that are suddenly thrust
into a scary war.
